The wrapped optibelt SK wedge belt was developed especially for mechanical engineering

where it replaces its predecessor, the classic V-belt. In comparison, it transmits approximately 50 % more power and thus enables more compact and therefore more cost-effective drives when purchasing new ones.The wrapped optibelt SK wedge belt has the characteristics of the excellent Optibelt S=C Plus with an efficiency of almost 97 % and can be used in the set without further measurements.In the case of existing drives with a classic profile, e. g. B/17, this can be replaced by the SPB wedge belt profile. A prerequisite for this is the observance of the minimum disc diameter, which is higher than that of the classic V-belt due to its increased design for wedge belt of the same width. Pulleys suitable for wedge belts must also be used.

The maintenance-free optibelt SUPER XE-POWER PRO M=S is one of the most powerful drive belts on the market. Its innovative design opens up new possibilities in the design of friction-locked drives, even on the smallest disc diameters, in extreme temperature ranges and at the highest speeds.The new tooth form, developed through FEM modulation and practical tests, continues to enable very small minimum pulley diameters for internal pulleys. In addition, the optibelt SUPER XE-POWER PRO M=S is now also suitable for external pulleys. This is the prerequisite for designing more compact drive units.The optibelt SUPER XE-POWER PRO M=S can be used in any application and is predestined for machine and special machine construction: ideal for compressors, fans, pumps, lathes and drills and all other application scenarios where compact drive systems are required.

optibelt VARIO POWER variable speed belts are the preferred choice for infinitely variable speed control. The special belt structure allows high dynamic loads, superior power transmission capability and excellent control characteristics.The electrical conductivity of the optibelt VARIO POWER variable speed belts allows the safe dissipation of electrostatic charges. In the case of drives with insufficient electrical conductivity, this can be so strong that there is a risk of ignition due to the formation of sparks.
